Raid and PvP Rules- Each raid has one leader. During a PvP event there will be only one leader. (Simply leader in the following rules.)
- The leader is responsible for making all final decisions on all aspects of the raid. Loot, strategy, everything. During the raid he or she has absolute power, even above envoys and the Shadow Lord.
- Selection of raid/pvp members will be at the discretion of the leader. For scheduled 'Guild Raids' or 'Events' this will follow the guild guidelines with consideration given to what specs are needed.
- All participating members are expected to have all equipment, consumables, raid significant items, in their inventory and ready to go when invites start. Failure to do so may result in not being selected for the event.
- Instructions given by the leader or his appointed agent are to be followed immediately.
- Suggestions for tactics / plans shall be communicated to your respective coordinator and they will pass the suggest / information to the leader.
- Communication during fight will be limited to significant content. (Special events and RP raids are exception.)
- Unannounced AFK's, unresponsiveness, disconnects, and other conditions which mean you are not performing in the event may result in removal / replacement in the raid at the discretion of the leader.
- We understand and appreciate that everyone has their own play styles. While each of us are unique, the design of the encounters and the level of coordination required means we must all fulfill the role for which we where selected. In extreme cases, any envoy or raid leader may ask you to respec for the benefit of the guild. Respeccing is voluntary.
Role Play Rules- Role Play in Purgatorium is not a rule, but a possibility. You are welcome to join Role Playing events and post in the role playing forums, but nothing forces you to do so.
- The main point of any RPG is to have fun. (Well, not on other people’s grief that is.)
- If you role play, don't destroy other's immersion. Take your character seriously. You are neither a god, nor a ninja pirate from outer space. You don't have to be an experienced roleplayer to join the fun but we do expect you to take roleplay very seriously and to do your best effort to create a character that fits into the lore and settings of Darkfall. If you don't wish to or can't do that then please don't role play.
- Erotic Role Play should be limited to tells or private messages, etc. No public ERP!
